The Idaho Pathfinders Association is a ATV & Motorcycle Club made up of over
200 members. (mostly ATV's) We take in a large area of people. Along with all ages, oldest being 86 and very active in the club. This chapter was founded 7 years ago by Dean Heckman and Brodie
Robinette.
We have a ride every month starting in March through September. All the rides are scheduled by January. The time's can very getting closer to ride time.
In April of every year we have what is called Family Fun Night at Hoot's Cafe. This is open to the public and to all ages.
There are games, a silent auction and a big action at the end. The last 5 years we give a way a 4-wheeler. And the Last 3 years a little 4-wheeler as well.
In September we put on a Fun Run that is open to the public. This is on a 30 mile trail we help maintain for the Forest Service
The I.P. A. helps maintain over 12 different trails in the area. This is where we get our saying " Helping Keep Trails Open for
the Public"
Other ways, we have filed and sealed a RS2477 on Kirkwood. As well as fought to keep it open for the public.
Meetings are the first Wed. of every month at Hoot's Cafe at 7:00pm.. Dues are due in January, $20.00 for the Family, or
$15.00 per person. A person can join at any time. Just all Dues are due in January.
The club has been going since 1999. We have over 200 members ages ranging from 3-87.We are responsible for 95 miles of trails to
maintain, in the surrounding area. (hopefully by the end of the year will have some what of a map of ATV trails put together, right now we have a lot of individuals) The club meets the first Wed. of
the month at Hoot's cafe, 7:00pm. (this some times varies) Phone number to call 839-2303, or eanda@ctcweb.net.
We put on 9 club rides a year. Two or three fundraiser, and a BBQ. We are a member of Gem State ATV Association of Idaho. (State wide ATV organization.) We also keep in touch with other ATV clubs
close by for other rides and Fundraising event.
The club has worked with the Forest Service on reconstructing trails and right now working on reopening a trail to ATVs. (part will be open next year)
There is 98 miles of trails to clean. Maps of trails will be available soon this summer.
